I have been admiring your work and I find these tool boxes delightful. The proportion of simple elements and clean edges shows an eye and attention to detail that I really appreciate. The surface glows so that at first I thought these were crafted from birch, very nice. It seems you are committed to the use of twine in your projects and I love it.
Thank you for the kind words Terry. These little totes are fun to build. The finish is just clear shellac and wax and it works really well on pine. Knot tying is another passion and I like to add a touch of it to my projects when I can. Maybe it will peak the interest in someone to try knot tying themselves.
