A few days ago I put up a post that showed my finished owl project. In the comment section I received a comment from friend and reader David:
“Thanks for posting this one I spent a few enjoyable hours yesterday making one….”
I can’t tell you how much it means to me when someone tells me that they like one of my projects enough to spend the time and effort to make their own version. Anyway, David sent me a photo of his completed owl and I think it turned out great!
Again, great job David and thank you. You made my day with this.
Please take the time to leave a comment and let David know what you think.

Nicely done David and congrats to you Greg for the inspiration
Hi Greg,
this is a nice project and a good chance to try some new techniques.
I like the idea, because it is somehow on a side path from what we are doing usually.
You both have done your version of the owl pretty well.
Cheers,
Stefan
Nice one for both!
Is there a section for “Readers Projects” coming up in the blog?
Really great! You guys are both aweosme!

Both look great! Great idea Greg. Its always nice to have a picture reference, the old “worth a thousand words” saying rings truer now with technology.
Thanks Brian. There are a lot of talented folks out there and we rarely get a chance to see what they can produce. This is my very small way of trying to share some of those works.
